Pioneering Care Partnership (PCP) is thrilled to announce that its County Durham Resilience Service has been selected as a finalist in the Health and Wellbeing Award category at the County Durham Together Awards 2024.
This recognition celebrates projects that make a real difference in health and wellbeing by providing vital support, advice, and care to the community. Launched in 2021 the County Durham Resilience service is delivered by PCP and Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust (TEWV). Since its inception the focus of the service has shifted from being COVID resilience focused to now building resilience and wellbeing across the county as part of County Durham's Community Mental Health Transformation.
Donna Sheavills, Project Lead for the County Durham Resilience Service, shared her excitement about the nomination: “We’re absolutely delighted to be recognised for our team’s dedication and hard work. Being named a finalist is a testament to the incredible commitment of everyone involved, from our staff and partners to the community we support. We’re so grateful for the opportunity to celebrate all we’ve achieved together.
“This nomination is not only an acknowledgment of our team’s efforts but also a reflection of the positive impact we’re seeing in the lives of those we support. It’s an honour to be a part of such a resilient and compassionate community, and we’re excited for the chance to keep making a difference.
"We’re proud of our collaborative approach working alongside East Durham Trust, Northern Learning Trust, UTASS, and TEWV to offer truly person-centred, community based support. The service has built a strong reputation, providing essential resources for wellbeing and resilience across County Durham."
The awards take place on Thursday 5 December, and employees from the service are excited to celebrate with all the amazing and deserved finalists.
