The Pioneering Care Partnership (PCP) works in partnership with the County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust to deliver Macmillan Joining the Dots.
The service is County Durham wide and supports people aged 18 and over who have been diagnosed with cancer, they also support friends, carers and relatives of those with a cancer diagnosis.
Applying to The Angels Trust, Paula, a Macmillan Joining the Dots Facilitator covering the South West Durham area, reached out to the inspirational charity to spread Christmas cheer through gifts to those impacted by cancer.

A break to Ramside Treehouse in Durham was gifted to the Rickaby family. Stephen Rickaby is currently awaiting a stem cell transplant at the Freemans Hospital, but wanted his family, including his wife, Anne, and their children, Sebastian and Hugo, to enjoy the break. The family thought it was amazing and cannot believe this kindness of the Angels Trust and Joining the Dots.
Along with the Ramside Treehouse break, a selection of gifts and toys were given to the family to enjoy.
Anne Rickaby, said: "Paula thank you so much for organising the Treehouse break it was a much needed boost to us all, we cannot believe the kindness people have shown us, it was so magical we can’t thank people enough."
Stephen Rickaby, said: "Paula it was lovely to speak to you earlier, thank you again for your amazing kindness and all that you have done, it’s very much greatly received."

But that's not all, there was more Christmas cheer to be spread this season. Rose has a cancer diagnosis and appreciated gifts received for her grandson Samuel. It really is the most wonderful time of the year.
