The Banks Group in County Durham have united with the Better Health at Work Award (BHAWA) to lead the way for future workplace health and wellbeing in County Durham.

They are proud to have achieved their Maintaining Excellence Status from the BHAWA, which means they are continuing to boost wellbeing in their workplace through training, awareness and activities.

Chris Kelsey, Communications Manager, at The Banks Group, said: “The Better Health at Work Award helps us to provide a structured programme of health and wellbeing to our employees and encourages them to maintain or improve their physical and mental wellbeing.

“The support in place from the BHAW team is invaluable in helping us shape our future monthly health campaigns, which in turn motivate and engage our staff.

“We are extremely proud to be a part of the BHAWA scheme.”

The Banks Group are a minerals, property and renewable energy company, that operate throughout the North East of England and Scotland and employ over 300 people.

The BHAWA in County Durham is delivered by the Pioneering Care Partnership (PCP), who’s charitable mission is to support ‘Health, Wellbeing and Learning for All’.
