The Happiness Hubs grant scheme has relaunched for 2025, helping people to live happier and healthier lives.
In previous years, grants have been successful in supporting the health and wellbeing of variety of people, including the likes of veterans, new mothers, elderly people and young people with learning difficulties.
Grants offer community organisations and groups the opportunity to put on activities and create safe spaces for local people.
Jane Cunningham, Happiness Hubs Development Officer at PCP, said: “There is £128,000 available in total this year, with grants ranging between £500 and £7,500 available to apply for.
“The Happiness Hubs Fund is providing this money to local organisations, groups and projects who wish to provide safe spaces for people to meet, make friends, talk and feel supported.
“We are particularly looking for those who are willing to facilitate Happiness Hubs on evenings, and/or over the weekend, to help those in need during these times.”
Applications are now open, and will close on Friday 14 February 2025. Projects or groups must last between a minimum of 12 to 18 months to qualify for a grant.
The Happiness Hubs is brought to you by the North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board and health and wellbeing charity, Pioneering Care Partnership.
